Fred,
Have left several messages about your posting for SNL tickets. Please let me know if you can get 2 tickets, any show in March or April. I am willing to pay your price.

Can anyone tell me exactly how this stand-by line up @ 7am works? Does everyone present by then receive tickets or just a certain number? Which one are stand-bys more likely to receive tickets to: dress rehearsal or live taping?
If we do get stand-by tickets, is there anything we can do to increase our chances of actually getting into the dress rehearsal/live taping? (ie. coming well before the expected arrival time, etc.)
Pls email me back at type_A_Tiff@yahoo.com or respond on this site. I'm visiting NYC from Vancouver, BC and this would really make the trip! Thanks!

Thank You sooo much for that website for the standby tickets! It was very cool of you!

Thanks, SNL Geek, for the URL! It was really helpful. Do you know how recent the information is? I was just thinking that on the official site it says to come no later than 7am, but the site you posted said they start distributing tickets around 9:30 (?!). Just wondering because I was hoping to pack my day with touristy stuff too.

Sorry guys, I have no idea how old that web page is. But I would trust the official NBC site for times.
There used to be a really cool fan web page that listed how many standby people got into the live and dress rehersal shows and hints for the standby line. But for some reason he took down his site. Happy Camping!

Another good URL, SNL Geek! I've got both of them bookmarked now. Have you been successful in getting tickets for either the rehearsal or taping?

I haven't had a chance to go down to NYC yet but I'd like to go this season. I'm still in the process of convincing a few friends to come down with me. They like SNL but not enough to camp out overnight with me. Slackers! :-)

I can empathize! I'm not even entirely sure that my travelling companion will be willing to camp out overnight at NBC without a guarantee of getting in! I bet it gets harder to get in, the farther into the season you wait.

Why does everyone follow like lemmings on this thread? This guy does NOT have or can he get you tickets. Why keep posting requests? Are SNL fans so ignorant & desperate that they'll keep replying to this dead & buried issue? I guess the answer is yes. Now soldiers in Iraq want Freds help too. C'mon people, wake up, where has common sense gone in America?
